Biography

Francisco Ramos is an incoming doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of Memphis, working with Dr. M. David Rudd. He earned his B.A. in Psychology and Economics from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2022. Before graduate school, Francisco worked as the lab manager of Dr. Iony Ezawa's Depression Treatment Lab at USC, where he coordinated randomized controlled trials investigating digital and cognitive-behavioral interventions for depression and mechanisms of therapeutic change in depression treatment. His research interests center on suicide prevention with a focus on using intensive longitudinal data and computational methods to understand short-term fluctuations in suicidal ideation, improve clinical decisionmaking, and inform the development of brief suicide-specific interventions.
